Pismo Beach Life
A classic California beach town located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Pismo Beach is a small community of almost 9,000 people situated on approximately 3.6 square miles of land.
In the 1950’s the City of Pismo Beach was known as the “Clam Capital of the World”. Today, you can see the large Pismo Clam statues located at each entrance to Price Street and decorated for every holiday. The Clam Festival is held every October with a parade and a clam chowder contest for all to enjoy.
This small town still enjoys a busy beach life with lots of family friendly activities. Celebrate fall with Pumpkins in the Park or in the Spring be sure to bring the kids to the Easter Egg Hunt. For 4th of July, end a fun day with family by watching the fireworks shoot off from the Pier. Year round, go to the beach to build sandcastles, play volleyball or grab a surfboard and go for the waves.
Each and every day, be sure to end your day with a Pismo Beach sunset from your deck at the Villas at Rancho Pacifica.
